About Us
Our Story
The Silken Windhound Association of the Rocky Mountains (SWARM) has been around unofficially in the region for many years. Comprised of local breeders and dedicated owners, they would often get together for social meetups, race practices, and training opportunities.
As the local community grew, the need for an official established club did as well. In June 2024 SWARM held its first annual meeting, and elected a board of directors. By October SWARM has already held their first breed specialty, SWARMageddon, sanctioned by the International Silken Windhound Society (ISWS).
We look forward to holding more events in the future, and continuing to grow with our amazing community of silken windhounds and their owners!
